[Pharmacological
action]
Jilifen
acts on the hemapoietic stem cells in the myeloid neutrophil
lineage. By promoting their proliferation and differentiation,
Jilifen can accelerate the formation of mature neutrophils,
facilitate their release into peripheral blood, and
strengthen their function as well.(See

In
the preclinical animal tests (ICR mouse and rhesus monkey)
and clinical tests, the neutrophil counts in the peripheral
blood increased significantly 24-48 hours after an intravenous
or subcutaneous injection, therefore reaching the first
peak. The second peak appeared on day 10-16. For the animals
and the patients involved in the tests, their heart rate,
blood pressure, electrocardiogram, breath, hepatic and
renal functions showed no obvious change. |
